About the Role:
Behaviour support workers play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young students and find the work extremely rewarding when they see progress in student behaviour after their hard work. Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a 1:1 behaviour support assistant for a role in a school in the CF5 area. The student you will be supporting is a KS2 pupil with challenging behaviour, which can sometimes lead to violent outbursts when dysregulated.
This role is both challenging and extremely rewarding, offering the opportunity to have a real and measurable impact on a young student's life. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent support and interventions to manage behaviour, focusing on avoiding triggers and fostering an inclusive learning environment for the child.

1. Experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviour.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and special education practices.
5. The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful applicant will have a team of dedicated consultants providing ongoing support throughout your time in the role.
