About the IT Support Engineer job
The purpose of your role will be to provide 1st line technical support to telephone requests, email requests and on-site requests from users.
Key tasks
* Provided advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, collaborating with senior IT staff and external partners on escalations and critical incidents.
* Supported on-site installations and break-fix scenarios for networking, servers, and cloud platforms, working closely with senior IT professionals.
* Managed incident resolution and outages in partnership with senior staff, ensuring smooth operations during critical situations.
* Delivered user training and assisted with new system rollouts, coordinating efforts with external IT partners for seamless implementation.
About You
* You should have 1 – 2 years’ experience working in IT in a first line role with the desire to move ahead.
* Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in all situations and a thirst for knowledge and learning.
* Amazing communication skills, both internally and in a customer service situation.
* A driving license & access to own transport is required due to the sites dual locations.

The IT Support Engineer job (ref: 8767) is based in Essex or London and is paying up to £27,000 according to your experience. The package includes full training and support from a friendly team as well as industry recognized qualifications. Travel to other sites is required. The working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
