Senior Systems & Network Engineer Location: Coventry, UK (Hybrid working) Salary: £50,000-£60,000 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Flexible start and finish times About the Role Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in systems and virtualisation? In this role, you'll be responsible for managing VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Enterprise Server environments, both on-premise and in the cloud. You'll also play a key role in critical infrastructure projects, including Microsoft Intune rollout, Citrix renewal, SharePoint migration, and disaster recovery enhancements with Azure. Key Responsibilities Work with cross-functional teams to assess business needs and implement scalable, future-proof solutions. Design, implement, and manage VMware environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Configure and maintain Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Microsoft RDS for seamless application delivery. Work on Azure-based disaster recovery and WatchGuard firewall solutions to enhance security and resilience. Support Microsoft 365 migration (including SharePoint) and improvements in Microsoft Intune. Requirements Ample experince in systems engineering, with expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Citrix products. Proficiency in Microsoft Server environments and Microsoft 365 management. Experience with Azure-based disaster recovery and Microsoft Intune rollout would be highly advantageous. Ability to work autonomously under tight project deadlines and deliver in fast-paced environments. Why join us?
