What You'll Be Doing Day-to-day
RESEARCH AND INSIGHTS
1. Lead user research activities such as interviews, usability testing and diary studies
2. Analyse and synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights
3. Present strategic thinking, research findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
4. Communicate research outcomes in a compelling and engaging way
UX DESIGN
1. Ensure high standards across design work, balancing creativity with usability
2. Collaborate with senior colleagues to align design with strategic project goals
3. Create core UX deliverables like wireframes, user journeys and prototypes
4. Advocate for best practices throughout the design and implementation process
CLIENT COLLABORATION
1. Present confidently in client sessions, contributing to discussions and decisions
2. Lead parts of workshops and co-creation sessions with clients and stakeholders
3. Build trusted relationships and help communicate the value of design thinking
SUPPORT TEAM GROWTH
1. Mentor midweight and junior team members through feedback and guidance
2. Support in shaping project approaches and deliverables
3. Contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge sharing across the team
4. Identify areas within the existing research and design processes that can be improved, or propose new improvements and ways of working
Experience, Skills, Education And Personal Attributes
1. Proven design experience with examples of successfully launched projects that demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
2. A strong portfolio showing clear examples of user-centred design, strategic thinking, and measurable outcomes
3. Skilled with Figma, Miro and other collaborative tools; confident presenting and communicating ideas
4. Experience in running client sessions and contributing to broader project direction
5. Comfortable supporting others, contributing to team culture and working across disciplines
