An Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technology Teacher to join their permanent staff starting in September 2024. Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Technology lessons
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Contribute to the development of the Technology curriculum
* Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings and training sessions
* Support and guide students to achieve their best
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience teaching Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* A passion for teaching and a genuine interest in student success
Desirable:
* Experience with extracurricular activities or school clubs related to Technology
* Familiarity with the latest educational technology and resources
