Planner/Scheduler (Site Based) - Wales DMW is looking for a site based planner for a renewables installation project in North Wales. Role: Maintain a resourced site installation programme for the project execution in line with the contractual requirements. Enable project stakeholders to obtain an accurate assessment of the current project status by analysing the impact of progress updates and changes and preparing a reliable forecast. Communication with internal and external stakeholders for site installation planning issues. Present the critical path and, in case of deviations, initiate the definition of corrective measures (if required) by the affected disciplines. Ensure that all interfaces with customer(s), suppliers, contractors and other third parties are considered in the project programme. Tasks: Keep the project programme updated on a daily basis with latest available project information (changes, actual progress, forecast start and completion dates, mitigation measures, subcontractors’ programmes and progress updates) Analyse the project programme after each update (programme changes, progress information, critical path) and report deviations or potential deviations to the agreed project programme baseline to the project manager and site manager. Request and receive from project team members all project relevant information required for preparation and update of the existing programme and for preparation of 4 week look ahead. Receive and evaluate input for progress monitoring and reporting. Agree revisions of the project programme and/or changes to project baseline programme with the project team / project manager. Regularly review the project programme together with site manager / project manager and report it according to the client reporting standards. Consider all key tasks to be tracked for potential contract changes / variations or claim prevention and consider their consequences in the project programme. Forensic analysis of the project programme in accordance with international standards in civil and plant and design-build projects SCL guidelines, AACE, FIDIC) Identification of the critical path(s) and performance of delay and/or disruption analysis that is qualitatively and quantitatively appropriate to serve as the basis for asserting extension of time and/or disruption claims. Supporting the project team in preparing and submitting claim notices and detailed claims in compliance with the deadlines and content and form requirements specified in the contract with the employer, consortium partners and/or suppliers. Requirements: Deep knowledge in MS Project & Primavera P6. Proven experience in construction project planning / scheduling. Profound understanding of interdependencies and ability to understand relevant technical topics. Excellent command of English. Proactive working style, ability to work independently and in a team. Strong communication skills. Gained knowledge within the field of claims. Willingness to be present on site. Rate: £50 per hour LTD / 50 hours a week. Accommodation included.
