HR Advisor
Location: Stroud
Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday (Fully office based)
Key Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:
1. Assist in all aspects of the delivery of a valued and trusted generalist HR function.
2. Provide advice, guidance, support, best practice and commercial solutions on all aspects of people management with both managers and the teams.
3. Oversee and fulfill HR Administration with the support of the HR Administrator.
4. Put together contracts, policies, update HR documents and draft guidance notes.
5. Carry out reporting, research and investigations.
6. Chair and minute disciplinary, grievance, inductions, exit interviews, return to work, maternity/paternity meetings, etc.
7. Update and keep concise and accurate personnel documentation within the defined business systems.
8. Oversee the processing of payrolls supported by the HR Administrator.
9. Provide focus on continuous improvement, implement changes and new processes to create working efficiencies as well as being cost-effective.
10. Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required.
11. Any other task and duty that is relevant to the HR department.
Key Skills and Experience of a HR Advisor:
1. Generalist knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
2. Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
3. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
4. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
5. Experience using HRIS systems along with analytics and reporting.
6. Experience of writing detailed HR policies such as guidance notes.
7. Ability to be flexible within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
8. Driving license and access to a vehicle.
