Job Title Junior CDM / Health & Safety Consultant Reports to Senior Director - Health and Safety Consultancy Lead Location London, West End (hybrid working) Role The Junior CDM / Health & Safety Consultant role is for someone in the early part of their health and safety career, who can demonstrate some construction focused health and safety experience and is looking to develop their knowledge in a supportive and dynamic team environment. You will be joining a close-knit team of health and safety professionals who work across a wide range of projects including, but not limited to office fitouts, new builds, and maintenance projects at key landmarks across the capital and regions. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of sectors including tech, finance, government, healthcare, industrial and logistics as well as sporting arenas and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Delivering health and safety advice to internal stakeholders, clients and those affected by CBREs projects. Supporting delivery of the CDM Principal Designer role. Advising clients on their responsibilities in relation to construction works. Undertaking health and safety audits on construction sites and at client facilities. Working with others in the development of safe systems of works for construction activities, namely Construction Phase Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Person Specification Experience in a similar role ideally within construction. Hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and ideally a member of IOSH. Good organisational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders. Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.
