An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the supportive and dynamic South of Tyne Adult Chronic Fatigue Service at Sunderland Royal Hospital, South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust. This 18.75 hours per week Post is to cover the current Postholder's career break until 09.09.25.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a compassionate and empathic specialist physiotherapist to provide high-quality specialist physiotherapy services to adults in the South of Tyne Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service. You will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines and to exercise responsibility for the governance of physiotherapy practice within the Service.
The South of Tyne Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service is the provider of Specialist assessment and treatment services for people with CFS / ME within Sunderland, South Tyneside and Gateshead CCGs. The Service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologist, occupational therapist and physiotherapist. There are lots of opportunities for collaborative working.
The role offers flexible working arrangements and will involve a combination of face-to-face work and consultations via video platform.

* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
* In depth knowledge of a range of appropriate therapeutic assessments and interventions & an ability to compare & contrast relative benefits.
* An ability to critically appraise new ideas / approaches to therapy.
