An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing governance, training, and coaching to inspectors, ensuring all delivered parts meet stringent quality standards. The successful candidate will act as a CMS champion, ensuring safe and accurate machinery operation, and supporting inspection optimisation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
1. Interpret blueprints and inspect complex aerospace components using 1st Principles, inspection equipment, and CMS.
2. Prove out new products and ensure batch production readiness, including CMM result correlation.
3. Identify and support inspection optimisation opportunities, including alternative inspection frequency plans.
4. Maintain and run CMMs, PMMs, and other metrology equipment, and interpret results.
5. Complete FAI reports to AS & RM requirements using available software.
Requirements
6. Proven Inspection / Quality experience within Manufacturing
7. Ability to interpret Engineering drawings
8. Understanding of CMMs
9. Experience working to AS highly desirable
10. Knowledge of GD&T, MSA, SPC, self-release RM
Location - Accrington, Lancashire
Salary - c£40k (dependent on experience)
