As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing tailored interventions to support students' speech, language, and communication development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address identified needs. Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, tailored to students' specific requirements. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development. Monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary. Provide training and guidance to school staff on supporting communication needs in the classroom. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with professional standards. Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Understanding of a range of speech, language, and communication needs and appropriate interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
