WHAT TO EXPECT The Dyno Kitting Engineer is responsible for delivering the daily routine of the test kitting, creating and owning the processes. You will ensure effective and efficient delivery of components and installation support to industry-leading development facilities for Powertrain I.C.E, EDU, Driveline PiL rigs and Battery Programme teams. The role involves a significant amount of cross-functional interaction. You will be liaising with Test Teams, Programme Planning & Component Owners along with Test Facilities both Internally & Externally to ensure that tests are able to initiate & complete in line with the PCDS gateways. The dyno kitting engineer owns the BoM and its delivery to meet the required test dates. This Includes ordering and progress chasing parts into the dyno kitting process for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), Electronic Drive Unit (EDU) and Powertrain in the Loop (PiL) commodities. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Team delivery of the Test dyno Kit • Support customer requirements • Ownership of Test kit delivery process • Support the internal and external audit of process and team adherence • Daily team communications and deployment against priorities WHAT YOU’LL NEED • Experience of managing SHEF regulations, reporting and monitoring compliance • Experience in leading and delivering engineering projects (E) ideally PM qualified • Advanced Microsoft Office skills to produce plans, presentations, graphs, and process and single point lesson (SPL) documents • Knowledge of prototype testing and build processes and operations • A full UK driving license as parts may need to be collected from other sites A leading premium automotive business and leading to move towards electric autonomous vehicles.
