Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to join our team in Cheltenham. The successful candidates will be responsible for surveying 5000 homes within the city to assess their condition and provide detailed reports. This role is crucial in helping us maintain and improve the quality of housing in Cheltenham.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive surveys of 5000 homes in Cheltenham.
Assess the condition of various building elements including structure, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and more.
Identify and document any defects, maintenance issues, and potential health and safety hazards.
Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of each property.
Use specialised software and tools to record survey data.
Liaise with property owners and tenants to arrange survey appointments.
Ensure all surveys are completed within the specified timeframe.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor or similar role.
Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
Proficiency in using survey software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
