It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver two newly awarded Smoking Cessation support service across Hampshire and The Isle of Wight, and we’re looking for an Engagement & Partnerships Lead to join us!
Our programme is designed to support residents of Hampshire and Isle of Wight access the support they need to stop smoking. This can be done through several approaches and will include the supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT) being sent to them. Combining these, with digital, remote or face-to face appointments with Stop Smoking Advisors to support them to ensure their quit attempt is successful.
As the Engagement & Partnerships Lead, you will manage a team of Healthcare and Community Engagement Managers, focusing on co-production and targeted promotion, in addition to general service promotion and awareness building across both Hampshire and The Isle of Wight to ensure we meet our ambitious referral targets! We are looking for someone who can combine hard work, outstanding communication and leadership skills, with strategic thinking and highly quality co-ordination, to optimise service referral generation performance.

A typical day as an Engagement & Partnerships Lead might include:
* Liaising with external organisations to build effective partnerships and promotion of the service, particularly within primary care locations, voluntary and community services
* Successfully implement, monitor and evaluate our marketing and communications strategy, to ensure the service meets its key performance indicators
* Ensure you and your team adopt a highly targeted approach to outreach, engagement, stakeholder relationship management and referral generation, focussing on service priority groups and populations, including our children and young people support pathway
* Ensure the successful roll out, development, and continual evaluation of the service workforce training strategy
* Maximise the use of, and support the strategic and operational management of our community outreach vehicle
* Taking management responsibilities for the team of Healthcare and Community Engagement Managers in addition to a part-time Engagement & Partnership Lead based focussed on The Isle of White, enabling them to carry out their roles effectively
* Working in partnership with Thrive Tribe’s centralised marketing team on marketing and communications plans, such as promotional campaigns
* Leading our approach to co-production within the community
* Establishing effective and reliable referral relationships with local community and health partners from a variety of settings including GPs, hospital trusts, mental health trust and voluntary organisations. In addition to ensuring outstanding relationships exist with key stakeholders associated to children and young people, supporting this important pathway/part of our offering to succeed
* Generating and sharing service performance feedback, referral and outcome data with primary and secondary care settings
* In collaboration with the Head of Service and Subcontractor Lead, effectively manage the relationship with any third party sub-contracted organisations utilised to support referral generation
* Working with colleagues across all our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
* Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
* Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

To work with us in this role you will need to have some knowledge or experience in networking, partnership management and co-production, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches on how to engage those experiencing them into health promotion services – bonus points if you have experience in leading a project or team! (particularly if it involved a broad range of stakeholders from multiple settings)

Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours), Permanent
Salary: Starting at £31,000 with the banding rising to £33,000 per year.

Location: This role is home-based but will require regular travel throughout Hampshire. The role requires applicants to be a car driver and have access to a car for this role. On occasion, travel to the Isle of Wight will also be required.
