My Midlands based client is seeking a Civil Engineer who will design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including the selection and sizing of equipment, calculations, and hydraulic modelling.

Example of Responsibilities:
* Perform engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects, analysing data to identify potential challenges and areas for improvement.
* Work closely with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and compliance with permitting requirements.
* Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in water and wastewater engineering through ongoing research and engagement.
Essential Skills/Background:
* Extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a focus on the design and construction of treatment systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
* Advanced proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, hydraulic modelling programs, and data analysis tools.
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes applicable to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
