Purpose and Objectives:
• Support the Head of Regulation and Compliance to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements in the UK and internationally.
• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected and alleged non-compliance, such as malpractice, and into high risk business areas and advise the Head of Regulation and Compliance about how to manage the risk.
• Support the Head of Regulation and Compliance in ensuring that NOCN’s policies, procedures and ways of working are regularly reviewed, are effective and are resilient to emerging risks of qualification fraud and malpractice.
• Enable NOCN staff and its approved centres to work compliantly and to provide support, training, guidance and best practice regarding the prevention, identification and reporting of suspected or potential cases of malpractice.
About you...
The ideal successful candidate will need to meet the following must have criteria:-
* Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent
* Educated to Level 4 or above
* Committed to continued professional development
* Significant and current experience of conducting investigations
* Significant and current experience of working in a regulated environment
* In depth knowledge of regulatory issues in the vocational and technical sector
* In depth awareness of malpractice and fraud indicators
* Clear and organised record keeping practices
* A keen eye for detail and ability to identify trends, discrepancies and trends
* Flexible attitude towards work and working hours when required
* Willingness to travel
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Commitment to the highest standards of quality work
Useful to have criteria:-
* Internal or external quality assurance qualification
* Knowledge of apprenticeships end-point assessments
