Job Description
To continue the growth of our Brand, we are looking for an experienced make-up artist to join the team based in Flannels Flagship store in Sheffield on a part time 20h per week contract.
The Opportunity
1. Provide expert application of Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products from everyday looks to special events
2. Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases with the brand and throughout the store
3. With training provided, we expect you to maintain specialised product knowledge and reinforce the Pat McGrath application techniques with your team
4. Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintain consistent and regular appointment bookings
5. Analyse sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
6. An expert in cosmetics, you will share your knowledge to provide our customers with exceptional and personalised service
7. Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience. From selling and replenishing stock & visual standards, to hosting and relationship building, you understand there is more to the customer experience than just selling
8. Manage customer feedback, and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales and retail standards
9. Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day. A flexible role, you may be required to work on different departments, taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you
10. Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge of products and competitors
11. Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
12. Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings both one to one and to a group
13. Replenish stock as needed and keep testers and counter clean and attractive to ensure the brand is presented at the highest level and hygiene standards are met
14. Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base.
15. Understand and follow health, safety and security procedures, and play an active role in preventing stock loss
16. Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures

Qualifications
18. Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
19. Ability to perform high quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu is essential
20. Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
21. Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
22. Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
23. A great communicator. You will be able to positively engage with all customers with varying needs and requirements
24. Well Informed. You will develop excellent product knowledge by following trends and being aware of our competitor’s activity, along with taking part in brand training
25. Known to be a sales and service expert. You’ll use these skills to deliver the extraordinary each and every time and take the initiative to provide additional services where appropriate
26. Flexible. Responsive to business needs, you are happy and comfortable to take responsibility for tasks that may go beyond the role expectation
27. A confident coach, and self-driven to upskill and learn. Work with management, trainers and brand artists to learn brand expertise and develop personal artistry skills
