Our client, a respected name in the industry, is seeking an experienced Aggregate Sales Account Manager to support their Sales Manager in growing and managing accounts across their aggregates division.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated sales professional with strong industry knowledge to take ownership of client relationships, drive business growth, and contribute to the continued success of a key part of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Relationships

Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term success and customer satisfaction
*
Serve as the main point of contact for all customer enquiries and interactions
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
Sales Growth & Business Development
*
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
*
Work to exceed sales targets and align with wider business objectives
*
Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
Negotiation & Commercial Delivery
*
Prepare competitive quotations and proposals
*
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with support from the Sales Manager
*
Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
Reporting & Performance Tracking
*
Provide regular sales reports to senior management
*
Monitor key performance indicators and maintain detailed records of activity
*
Track pipeline development and sales performance
Team Collaboration
*
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver excellent service
*
Share insights and customer feedback to help improve products and services
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in aggregate sales, particularly sand and gravel and hard stone aggregates
*
A strong understanding of national and local builders’ merchants
*
The ability to work independently
*
Ideally based between Edinburgh and Berwick, or within reasonable commuting distance
