Grade 8 £31,586 to £34,314 (£14,318 to £15,555 pro rata) per annum
Due to a shortfall in PPA cover Meadowbrook Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and creative Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role is offered on a temporary basis until 31st January 2026 or earlier should the postholder return before this date. Hours for this role are 19.5 hours per week, working 6.5 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Actual working hours are to be agreed.
You will need to be a proactive, enthusiastic, reliable and caring team member and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to establish good working relationships with Class Teachers, children and parents.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Level 2 “Supporting Teaching & Learning” in Schools or equivalent qualification
• To be able to meet national standards for HLTA’s based on previous experience, training and qualification
• Experience of working with pupils in the relevant age range/key stage (PPA cover will be across the school)
• Maths & English at GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent qualification
• Experience in phonics is desirable
