Job Description :
Sozio UK is seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Director to lead and manage its sales team of 5 commercial executives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the strategic alignment of sales operations with the company’s overall goals. This is a key leadership role in a growing company specializing in natural and innovative fragrance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the commercial strategy for Sozio UK, aligning with global business objectives.
Identify market opportunities and define action plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional performance.
Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and ensure individual and team sales goals are met.
• Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the fragrance industry.
Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market developments.
• Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing and R&D teams to develop tailored fragrance solutions for clients.
Ensure seamless communication between the UK office and Sozio’s global teams.
• Budget Management:
Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize results.
Monitor pricing strategies and ensure profitability in all sales activities.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the fragrance or FMCG industries.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make strategic decisions.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
