Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Specialist to join the Starline Team in Reading, UK.
What Will You Do?
Main Job Duties:
1. Responsible for liaising with the packers, CSS & other Legrand/Starline stakeholders of the export and import processing of Starline packed orders.
2. Requesting quotes from freight forwarders.
3. Arranging efficient and cost-effective domestic and international transport of goods and services.
4. Monitor shipment progress, maintaining the logistics track & trace and provide updates as and when required.
5. Prepare and review necessary import and export documentation ensuring accuracy and adherence to Customs regulations (Commercial Invoices, Packing list, etc.)
6. Liaise with 3PLs, Freight Forwarders and nominated agents.
7. Applying to Chamber of Commerce for Certificates of Origin, ATRs, EUR1 and other documents.
8. Issuing Import or Export instruction to Freight Forwarders.
9. Proactively review customer orders to ensure Logistics related information is provided in a timely manner.
10. Responsible to ensure all orders are shipped within agreed timelines.
11. Follow up with packing leads to check orders were dispatched as booked and order availability.
12. Provide support with other duties as and when required.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Education:
1. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
2. 3-4 years logistics experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
1. Proficient in Word & Excel.
2. Experience in TEAMS/online meetings.
3. Understanding of customs harmonized system.
4. Team player.
