Location: Preston
We are seeking an HR Advisor to cover maternity for a period of 9 months. The role is part of a large HR team, based at their modern offices in Birkenhead with free parking.
The role of the HR Advisor is to provide a full, generalist HR support service to line managers across the organisation. You will be responsible for giving advice on a range of policies and procedures whilst also working through a high volume of ER casework. The company has a strong culture and a great team ethos within the HR department, and they are proud to hold their Investors In People accreditation.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a high volume ER caseload, providing advice and guidance to ensure compliance with employment law.
2. First point of contact for HR queries.
3. Monitor absence and sick leave, generating reports and working with Managers to take remedial action.
4. Manage and maintain the HR system.
5. Support ad hoc HR projects.
Skills:
1. High volume employee relations experience.
2. Experience in a generalist HR Advisor role previously.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
