Description The key responsibilities for the Business Administrator role are: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the procurement department, including processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing supplier relationships. Liaise with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support in sourcing and acquiring necessary products and services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, supplier information, and payment records. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval work flows. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Support the resolution of any issues related to procurement, such as discrepancies in delivery, quality, or billing. Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Perform other administrative tasks and support projects as assigned by the Procurement Manager. Profile The successful candidate for the Business Administrator role is someone with the following: Previous experience working as an Administrator. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Detail-oriented with strong analytically and problem-solving abilities.
