The Role As a key member of the Private Client team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal advice while also helping to drive business development and team growth. This is a client-facing role that requires technical excellence, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Managing a varied private client caseload, including: Wills (including Living Wills) Probate applications Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Trust creation & management Court of Protection work Administration of Estates Business development through networking, social media, and marketing initiatives. Advising on HMRC inheritance tax rules and maximising entitlements. Client meetings, note-taking, and effective case management. Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and regulatory requirements. Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development. Participation in charity events, legal clinics, webinars, and networking opportunities. About You The ideal candidate will be: 8 years PQE with extensive experience in private client work. Seeking long-term career progression with a desire to achieve Partner status. A technically strong solicitor with expertise in estate planning, wills, probate, and trusts. Client-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Confident in managing risk, compliance, and client expectations. IT proficient, with experience using case management systems. Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Holder of a valid driving licence (preferred).
