We currently seek a FM Project Manager to provide a fully comprehensive project management service for Capital, Lifecycle, Small Works and any other statutory compliance works undertaken, from inception to completion, at a single site - Northwood HQ, a huge MoD base near Watford.
What you'll do:
* Manage project work, life cycle and assist small works including design, tender process, arrange for the ordering of materials and plant, resource planning and implementation of direct labour or contract labour
* Be the Lead SHWEQ on your projects and ensure the supply chain are fully aware of our expectations and rules prior to starting.
* Pre-plan all works with relevant Stakeholders, liaise with all relevant parties to agree an acceptable commencement date for the works. Ensuring access is available and the planned works do not compromise day to day operations and that works are delivered in an efficient and cost effective manner
* Support various stakeholders.
* Provide weekly reports to and up to date information for allocated projects.
* Responsible for the electronic management/storage of all Capital Projects works documentation, including the upkeep of the tracking systems to ensure works are invoiced in a timely manner and ensure costs are recovered.
* Produce feasibility studies with budget costs as required.
* Ensure tendering procedures, contracts and documentation are adhered to and undertake the role of Contract Administrator when required.
* Liaise with package managers and authorised persons in preparation and implementation of safe systems of work/permit to work systems.
* Liaise with other Operating Units within the business.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Proven Project Management experience within buildings / facilities services, M&E, Building Fabric, Groundworks etc
* Good understanding and working knowledge of several software packages including Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio and experienced in use of CAFM systems and Asset Database systems.
* NRSWA, HSG47 awareness
* Proven experience of leadership and management of a diverse range of supply chain contractors providing direction and support to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and budget.
* Robust, measurable knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
* Excellent communication skills, client facing and internal relationships.
* Experience of delivering multiple complex projects with values from £1000 - £1 million.
* Must hold a professional qualification.
* Full UK driving licence
