Agriculture and Property Manager | Up to £65,000 | Banbury (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Agriculture & Property Manager to join a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Banbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong accounts and tax experience to manage a portfolio of rural and property clients, while contributing to the development of the team and wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied portfolio of agriculture and property clients
* Deliver high-quality accounting and tax planning services
* Review accounts and personal/corporate tax returns prepared by junior staff
* Identify tax planning opportunities and provide tailored advice
* Support Partners on advisory assignments and client projects
* Lead and mentor a team, conducting appraisals and providing ongoing training
* Assist with business development, client retention, and marketing initiatives
* Ensure compliance with all relevant deadlines and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
* Experience reviewing accounts files and tax returns
* Comfortable working with MS Office and accounting software (e.g. IRIS, Xero, Sage)
* Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills
* A proactive, solution-focused approach
* Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines
* Prior experience at manager level within practice
* Exposure to rural clients or property-focused accounts work
* Business development or networking experience
Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Banbury. Some flexibility around working hours may be required.
