As our working environment is dynamic and challenging, we are now looking to expand our QHSE team with a full time Quality Control Manager. Full detail of the role is below;
Job Overview:
This individual will have a day to day focus on driving improvement in the Quality Control function with respect to capability, capacity and more efficiencies within our AQL system and quarantine disposition processes. They will be responsible for the Quality Control System and product compliance to specification within the global business.
Schedule:
* 8 hours Monday to Thursday
* 7.5 hours Friday
*Please note that this role is currently on site at our S8 location however we aim to relocate to our new site in S60 within 2026*
Responsibilities:
* Management of Quality Control policies
* Line Management of the Quality Control team
* Lead knowledge and training on measurement and assessment techniques as well calibration equipment
* Disposition of non-conforming products
* Product quality compliance to specifications
* Promotion and development of quality control capability through new technology, equipment and techniques
* Responsibility for customer focus
Role requirements:
* Experienced quality practitioner
* Experience in managing a Quality Control team
* Strong metrology skills including programming CMM machines
* Experience in geometric tolerancing and calibration processes
* A form of engineering degree preferred
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Be a self-motivator with a "Can Do" attitude
* High degree of integrity, honesty and confidentiality
* Direct, fair and impartial in judgements
* Appreciate and encourage team work by involving employees through transparency and authenticity
* Comply with instructions, processes and procedures whilst suggesting improvements as necessary
