Customer service operative

JOB TITLE: Customer Service OperativeLOCATION: St Austell, CornwallSALARY: Negotiable, depending on experienceThe Employer:We are looking to fill the role of Customer Service Operative within a housing environment.The client is a non - profit, charitable registered provider of social and affordable housing throughout Cornwall.This client, as an employer, offers plenty of benefits and schemes to enable staff to create a work environment that allows them to provide quality, affordable homes and services for the people of Cornwall.The Role:
* Installation, maintenance and repair to customer properties
* Assess and carry out works needed for tenants
* Undertaking customer service issues
* Using a laptop to record repairs and organise workload
The Candidate needs:
1. Experience in a similar role or trade background, preferably with experience of basic Carpentry, Plumbing, Decoration and General Maintenance.
2. The ability to demonstrate awareness of safe systems of work
3. An understanding of customer needs and ability to think quickly when needed
4. To behave in a courteous and professional manner
5. To be able to prioritise conflicting demands
6. Great communication skills
