QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Hours – 8:00- 17:00 Monday- Friday
Due to continued business growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join the business in a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the Divisional Commercial lead, within the Energy and Critical Infrastructure Division, you will be responsible for effectively managing the commercial aspects of a variety of project works.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:
* Supporting the Operation’s team in managing the Contract
* Producing accurate monthly P&L’s and supporting the Commercial Director & Finance Manager to produce period end financials.
* Working alongside Supply Chain to support engagement with subcontractors and ultimate agreement of profitable and contractually watertight orders.
* Effectively administering the commercial aspects of the contract in accordance with the parameters & exacting timeframes as set out in the contract particulars.
* Agreement of applications for payment and other financial statements with the client.
* Production of dashboard reports to reflect on the key commercial areas under the contract.
* Monthly WIP analysis & cash flow control.
* Monthly production of accurate cost & value forecasting.
* Mitigating through EWN’s against time & cost impact & maximising revenue through Compensation Events where appropriate.
* Overseeing supplier accounts as the first point of contact to address application queries and to maintain an accurate running picture of applied/certified/retention/contras/WIP.
Qualifications/ Experience Required:
* Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Management degree (or equivalent - desired but not essential).
* Practical knowledge of Term Service Contracts in FM delivery is desirable, but not essential.
* A practical, logical, and methodical approach to work.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Analytical thinking skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence which has been continuously held for 12 months or more, with no more than 6 points.
* A legal right to work in the UK.
* Able to demonstrate a clean enhanced DBS check.
