A Bench Joiner is required to join an established family run business on a permanent basis. A company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and innovative joinery solutions for their clients. Bench Joiner Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Manufacture bespoke joinery items including doors, windows, furniture, and cabinetry. Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Assemble and fit components to precise measurements and quality standards. Sanding, finishing, and preparing wood surfaces as required. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Bench Joiner Key Requirements Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment would be preferred but not essential. Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship. Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Joinery (preferred but not essential). Bench Joiner Remuneration Starting hourly rate between £13 and £15 per hour dependant on experience.
