Job Description – Psychology & Sociology Teacher
Teach engaging and inspiring Psychology and Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
Plan and deliver a dynamic and inclusive curriculum that supports the needs of all learners.
Work collaboratively with the Social Sciences Department to drive student progress and achievement.
Monitor and assess student outcomes, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Participate in ongoing CPD and contribute to departmental planning and improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it.
Strong academic background in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to meet teaching standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level.
A genuine passion for Social Sciences and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Willingness to embrace feedback and take part in professional development.
