What You’ll Do as People and Culture Partner at Aira: As our People & Culture Partner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our teams are supported, engaged, and inspired. While you'll be primarily working with colleagues in Aira Yorkshire, the role will also involve some travel across the north of the UK to support teams in different locations. Being a Trusted Adviser: Be a go-to expert for employee relations, providing fair and practical guidance on policies and processes. Conflict Resolution: Support line managers with conflict management, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes. Performance Management: Help teams set clear objectives, conduct meaningful performance reviews, and foster open, constructive conversations. Day-to-Day Support: Manage daily people operations, from responding to queries to maintaining accurate employment records. Training & Development: Deliver engaging management training workshops, covering topics such as employee relations for beginners. HR Systems & Payroll: Collaborate with the Junior P&C Partner and external payroll providers to ensure smooth monthly pay cycles and maintain our HRIS. Benefits & Compliance: Administer benefits, ensure compliance with GDPR, and maintain up-to-date employee files, including right-to-work documentation. Cultural Champion: Embody and promote Aira’s values in every interaction, enhancing employee engagement and well-being. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. As our new People and Culture Partner, you'll need: Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role. Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills. A knack for building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Experience in performance management and employee engagement initiatives. Analytical skills to interpret HR data and drive informed decisions.
