As an apprentice HR Consultant, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of opportunities through tailored placements across the following functions to help you develop your HR generalist experience, including: Hr Operationa & Reward, Resourcing & New Talent, The Academy and HR Business Partnerning & Change. You'll be supporting colleagues to help create a fair and equitable working environment where everyone can succeed by: Providing advice, guidance, and support to our colleagues when they need it most Developing data and analytics that drive valuable insight and decision making Supporting our annual employee cycle of activities (such as pay review, bonus, performance, and talent reviews etc) Enabling and supporting our colleagues through business change and transformation Attracting, selecting, and on-boarding talented individuals to Severn Trent so we can deliver on our customer promises Partnering with leadership teams to continue to improve employee engagement Help our colleagues to continue to grow, learn and develop new skills through our Academy Delivering on our diversity and inclusion ambition, to have a workforce that reflects the communities we serve You’ll rotate across a number of different areas of the HR team throughout your apprenticeship programme to help you build a breadth of knowledge, skills and experience How Will The Programme Work Standard People Professional Website People professional / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education Apprenticeship Duration 24 months (Excluding EPA) Apprenticeship Level 5 Location Coventry, CV1 2LZ Salary £21,000 Provider/ F2F or Online Crosby- Online ENTRY CRITERIA For this Apprenticeship Programme (Level 5) we require all candidates to have Level 3 qualifications (A/Levels or equivalent) and a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) ROLE EXPECTATIONS POST APPRENTICESHIP By the end of this programme, you will take up a role in HR, such as a HR advisor/HR specialist. Within this role you will be able to put your skills to action What Will You Learn A good understanding across all HR disciplines, legislation and policies and procedures. As well as best practice and emerging thinking. How to develop and deliver HR solutions that drive business performance whilst motivating, supporting and developing our employees. How to build relationships with colleagues and leaders across the organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to learn a specialism across; Resourcing, Reward, HR Operations or Learning and Development, to suit your strengths and interests.
