£27,500 (Rises on Training, Development & Service) + Bonus + Lucrative Matched Pension + Holidays + Overtime
This job is targeting a developing professional who is keen to find a career within a mechanical field following already developed skills in repair & mechanical proficiencies. The successful candidate will develop into a further positions once trained in site specific processes.
Role Description
To clean and prepare extrusion tooling for use by production
To service and core change mould tooling
To carry out minor repairs to Company tooling
All work to be carried out within predetermined specifications and tolerances
General engineering-based tasks as directed
To maintain records of work carried out
Covering a wide range of training on specific processes to further knowledge and role potential
Driving processes and supporting the overall team in the department
Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering experience
Tooling knowledge and experience - Desirable
Proven ability to provide finished products within correct specifications
Good computer literacy (able to use scheduling and work management systems)
Previous experience in a hands-on operational work environment
Ability to manage workload while working in both as a team and individually
