We are looking for a highly motivated person that has experience in the area of Creative Media Production. This post will be based at Crawley College.
At Crawley College we have establishing a thriving Creative Community within our Creative Media offer. Recently, the college has developed a multi-million pound facility at Crawley College that will put the college at the cutting edge of training delivery. In addition, the area is developing a professional TV studio and 4 immersive hubs that innovate our curriculum erven further. We now want to recruit an inspiring, innovative, and dynamic Lecturer in Creative Media on a full-time basis who can help develop our Audio-Visual curriculum, especially the new Broadcast Media T-level.
We want to recruit an enthusiastic lecturer to deliver outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment. A significant collaboration with local employers is envisaged to support the students’ career development and contribute to our CCM (Crawley College Media) YouTube channel.
As part of our successful and supportive Media team, you will be delivering a range of projects and supporting students to develop their creative production skills. The role offers lots of opportunity for staff to develop practice in a way that is creative and engaging. The college also offers comprehensive staff development. The ideal candidate will work with the team to actively contribute to the design and development of the curriculum within the Academy. Above all, we are looking for someone with a real passion for educating the future workforce.
You must be committed to equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding. Relevant industry experience in media will be advantageous and the ideal candidate will hold a recognised Teaching Qualification.
You will further develop this area working with students from level 2, 3, Apprentices and T levels, to ensure they achieve their best. You will also build excellent relationships with the Creative Media industry to raise the profile of the College in the community.
You will be responsible for the success of students and providing an enriched curriculum. This will include recruitment, providing advice and guidance to students on their progression routes, and developing industry links that provide them with enrichment and work experience. You will track and monitor student progress to ensure timely completion and achievement.
