This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your customer service skills and gain knowledge within a social care setting in our supportive, collaborative and multi-disciplinary Advice and Contact team.
Our key focus is to support Wiltshire’s vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible, within the community. This holistic approach and the support that you will offer will be essential in the service achieving this.
As an Information Officer, you will be part of a team that responds to Adult Social Care enquiries and concerns via telephone, email and online referrals. You will be responsible for actioning referrals and providing high-quality information, advice and signposting.
To thrive in this exciting and rewarding role, we seek candidates with social care and customer service experience who has the ability to work as part of a team in a busy and fast paced environment. You will need good listening and communication skills to build effective relationships with vulnerable adults and display a courteous and professional attitude, as well as excellent IT skills and the ability to analyse and prioritise work.
