Job Description
Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer.
You will be required to provide support to help the client remain as independent as possible in their own home and out in the community.
The role will involve:
1. Helping with everyday activities. The Client enjoys getting out & about throughout the day.
2. Assisting with life skills such as cooking and domestic duties.
3. Providing support in the community and helping to access activities they enjoy.
4. Ensuring they are safe within their home and the wider community.
5. Being someone they can rely on and a good companion.
This is an exciting opportunity and includes the chance to develop and gain new skills and knowledge. The client enjoys being outdoors and gardening, so a love of the outdoors would be an advantage.

Required: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Willing to operate client's vehicle.

Qualifications
To have experience of challenging behaviour is preferred and a willingness to learn how to manage this client's needs is a must. However, no specific care experience is required as we offer full training on orientation.
Additional Information
As a Care Professional, you will receive industry-leading training, great rates of pay, and excellent support. The position will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 12.30 - 17.30 and alternate Saturdays 08.00 - 17.00.

Due to the nature of the role, caring for clients in their own homes and assisting clients to access the community, we require all of our Care Professionals to have a suitable independent means of transport.
