Role Responsibilities
1. Fabricate structural steel, including marking and making cutting lines on material.
2. Must be aware of all fabrication parts required, ensuring they are all present, properly fitted and aligned, while ensuring that all quality control standards are met.
3. Effectively manipulate steelwork by cutting, hammering, and bending, ensuring the integrity of the product is not lost.
4. Make templates for common work tasks to ensure a continually high standard of work whilst not compromising speed.
Skills Required
1. At least two years' experience in a similar fabrication role.
2. Experience in MIG welding (mostly tack welding).
3. The ability to read and understand workshop drawings.
4. Verify dimensions and product descriptions using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
5. Ability to make accurate cutting lines on all steel without error.
6. Experience in using overhead cranes (training card preferred).
7. Physically able, with a high level of dexterity and stamina.
8. Must have a strong work ethic, an honest and reliable personality, and a hardworking mentality.
You will be required to work Mon to Thurs 07:00 am - 04:00 pm and Friday 07:00 am - 02:30 pm.
