Tamworth:
A major picking depot, employing more than 130 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.
What you'll be doing:
To manage and control stock, by maintaining accurate stock records within Greencore systems and third-party warehouses, to maintain the quality of the products cost efficiently and deliver in line with customer needs.
1. Leadership & Team Management
Provide direction to the Stock Control team including two warehouse operatives .
Develop team members to support business goals and foster their professional growth.
Ensure alignment and consistency across the team with a focus on improving processes.2. Stock Management & Integrity
Oversee stock control processes, ensuring integrity and perpetual audit-readiness.
Identify failures in stock flow and implement corrective actions.
Manage the flow of finished goods, acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders .
Ensure efficient stock transactions, with consistent monitoring of customer KPIs, balancing waste and stock availability.3. Demand Planning & Forecasting
Lead the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting, integrating with the customer, commercial and operational teams.
Work with suppliers to manage material availability and address risks in the plan.
Develop a relationship with the 3rd Party warehouse to maintain stock availability and integrity4. Audit & Compliance
Maintain audit-readiness, ensuring compliance with standards and processes.
Collaborate with the profit protection and operations teams to drive adherence to policies.5. Reporting & Communication
Present reports and updates to the customer, commercial team, and key stakeholders.
Share forecasts and constraints with internal teams, the customer, and suppliers, promoting open communication.
Propose continuous improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and drive growth.Role Details:

Must be confident using different systems and data inputting on Excel
Team management/leading experience
Transport or industrial experience
Stock experience preferred
