THE IT SERVICE DESK MANAGER OPPORTUNITY:
The company is looking for a passionate IT Service Desk Manager to oversee a dedicated team tasked with providing outstanding IT support. It's essential to champion service excellence, guaranteeing that each call is handled with the utmost professionalism. They are looking for someone who will devise straightforward and effective processes and procedures to streamline support, fostering a proactive "shift left" approach that enhances the customer experience.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
1. Extensive experience of managing a Service Desk Team within different organisations.
2. Successful implementation of ITIL processes and procedures.
3. Strong understanding of industry best practices on Service Desk Management.
4. Strong technical foundation with excellent O365, desktop and application support skills.
5. Degree qualified preferred, and preferably MSc or the equivalent experience.
6. Strong technical Desktop support, Microsoft O365, and applications skills.
7. Good understanding of Active Directory.
8. First class communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels of business.
9. Highly motivated person who is passionate about delivering an outstanding service.
10. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
11. Strong organisation skills and the ability to be self-sufficient.
12. The ability to take ownership and have a proactive approach to problem management whilst utilising other teams and 3rd party providers.
