As a Lead Developer, you will create forms within our CRM system (Granicus govService) and integrate them into back-office systems. You'll lead a team of developers, design and implement digital solutions to enhance customer experience, and ensure compliance with Digital Service Standards. You will also network with the Granicus user community, address issues with existing services, contribute to service plans, and produce comprehensive solution designs.
Your proactive approach and innovative mindset will drive continuous improvement in our digital services.
Main Responsibilities

* Design and develop complex programs using agreed standards and tools, ensuring alignment with Digital Service Standards.
* Plan, arrange, and facilitate meetings and workshops with users during test planning and development activities.
* Network with the Granicus user community to stay updated on best practices and innovations.
* Address and resolve issues with existing digital services promptly.
* Contribute to the development of service plans to achieve strategic business goals.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of digital solutions.
* Identify service gaps, highlight policy issues, and recommend effective solutions.
* Compile and present comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.
* Lead projects, manage testing activities, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
* Produce detailed solution designs and enhance existing software solutions.
About You
We are looking for individuals who have:
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise and clarify user stories.
* Excellent understanding of software development fundamentals and agile delivery techniques, tools, and software (e.g., Jira).
* Strong communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
* Proven experience in people management.
* Expert knowledge and experience developing digital services and processes using a CRM system (ideally GovService software).
* Ability to make decisions and deliver under pressure.
* Proactive and results-oriented, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
* Solid experience using database SQL.
* Knowledge and experience with Monday.com, Halo, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, CRM forms, MS, and Ebase.
* Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including writing comprehensive API documentation.
* Knowledge of technologies used to support web applications, including databases, servers, and backups.
* Understanding of how new technologies can solve technical and business problems (e.g., cloud computing services, serverless, scaling).
* Ability to prioritise own and team work.
* Experience with robotic process automation.
* Experience using testing to validate solutions.
* Ability to quickly research, learn, and apply new development tools and techniques.
* Degree or equivalent vocational qualification in a relevant subject or area.
