A leading financial institution, based in Canary Wharf, is looking to hire an IT Support Engineer, working as part of the London IT Team, providing support of the Microsoft environment and troubleshooting 2nd line issues.
It is essential that candidates have experience in:
1. Basic networking
2. Desktop and Laptop Hardware Support
3. Windows 10
4. MS Office 2007/2010
5. Android & iOS and Printer/Fax Support
You will be delivering a client-focused service through ad-hoc troubleshooting and problem solving for end user queries in a professional and timely manner, implementing and working to enhance the existing internal systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a high-pressured environment. Experience of Bloomberg would be beneficial but not essential.
A normal day at the office for the IT Support Engineer consists of attending to users' technical issues, installing new PCs/printers, configuring mobile devices, inventory maintenance, etc.
Ideally, they are looking for someone that is able to start immediately. This will be office-based, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend as needed.
Spanish speaking would be advantageous.
