Applications are invited from candidates who are suitably experienced in reception duties to join our Urgent Treatment Centre at North Tyneside General Hospital. You will provide an efficient administration and clerical service to staff, visitors and patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre.
The post holder must be able to use their own initiative, work under pressure, have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should have strong keyboard skills and have a knowledge of IT packages and their applications.

To provide a reception service, acting as first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other health care professionals.

To provide an efficient administration and clerical service to unit staff, visitors and patients for emergency attenders, soft tissue and associated out-patient clinics.
To provide a reception service, acting as first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals.
To facilitate good communication with other wards and departments involved in patient care or ward/departmental functioning.
