We are seeking a highly skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As an SSE Electromechanical Technician, you will be based in Faslane, Helensburgh, Scotland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tasks in a highly prescriptive environment to support Submarine and shore-based systems and equipment. You will work as a fully integrated member of the Launcher Surface Support Equipment team, which may involve travel to other UK and USA sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on lifting equipment, including overhead cranes, Forklift Trucks, Scissor-Lifts, Cherry Pickers, and working at height.
* Perform grit blast and paint spray operations to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with technicians and engineers to conduct corrective and preventative maintenance, load testing, and quality control checks.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong mechanical background and ability to tackle complex challenges.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) to streamline tasks and communication.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to task completion and effective communication with diverse groups.
Salary and Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Security Clearance:
You will be required to obtain a higher level UK Security Clearance, which will be supported by Lockheed Martin.
