Position Summary Our main mission is to deliver customer satisfaction through innovative supply chain solutions Our 2024 strategic focus lies firmly in People, Processes, Planning and Logistics Role And Responsibilities Your Key Responsibilities Direct lead responsible for daily customer interactions Customer focussed role therefore will be required to develop and maintain good customer relationships Lead weekly SCM process to ensure efficient delivery of joint business plan within mutual critical metrics framework Discuss sell out and future demand with customers/commercial teams and update onto internal systems Analyse data and articulate clear trends and implications Suggest future intake proposal for responsible accounts based on PSI analysis Delivery order creation Order book management. Maintain the required delivery dates of all sales orders in line with stock availability Manage weekly sales achievement rate by ensuring that the short term forecast is in line with confirmed customer orders/bookings Work closely with finance team with regards to credit control/limitation & billing/invoice queries Work closely with logistics company to co-ordinate inbound to ensure you maximise on time and in full deliveries Communicate any delays with shipments to the key stake holders and ensure minimum impact to the customer and end user Manage delivery process ensuring that the best supply chain solutions are achieved in order to minimise customer delivery failures Update key stake holders with sales progress and estimation based on confirmed customer orders and bookings escalating any issues to the business Manage customer order allocation process Maximise cost efficiency by increasing direct delivery ratio Lead Supply Chain meetings/business reviews with collaborative partners in order to build up strategic relationships Liaise with HQ with regards to product availability, production capacity (SOP), shortages & recovery, new SKU code set ups, etc In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined you may be required to perform other duties assigned and requested by the line manager, for example, project management Skills And Qualifications What we need for this role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Highly motivated individual with positive and proactive approach Ability to work well under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines Ability to prioritise workloads Problem solver with good negotiation skills Strong interpersonal and analytical skills What does success look like?
