Job Description: Contracts Manager
Location: Hybrid (Sites and Home)
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Annual Bonus
Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee fit out and refurbishment projects within the public sector, including security clearance projects. This role involves a balanced time split between on-site management and remote work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee fit out and refurbishment projects within the public sector.
2. Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements for specific projects.
3. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
4. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
5. Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are adhered to.
6. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
7. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience at Project/Contracts Manager level.
2. Proven experience in commercial fit out projects.
3. Experience with security clearance projects is highly desirable but not essential.
4. Strong understanding of public sector project requirements.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
