We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 support to a student with ADHD and autism in a mainstream primary school. Essential Experience Required: Extensive experience working with children who have ADHD, autism, and other SEN needs. A solid understanding of neurodiverse learning strategies and behavioural management techniques. Confidence in managing challenging behaviour effectively and fostering positive relationships. Your Responsibilities: Offer tailored 1-2-1 support to meet the unique needs of the student. Implement strategies that encourage emotional regulation and positive interactions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to provide a unified and consistent support network. Monitor and adapt learning interventions to promote academic and personal growth. Ensure regular, constructive communication with parents, providing updates and guidance for home support. Who You Are: Experienced in working with SEN children in primary school settings. Knowledgeable about the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Code of Practice. Patient, empathetic, resilient, and able to adapt quickly to dynamic situations.
