As a Communications and Events Adviser, you will play a key role in shaping and executing events that support our communications plans and campaigns. Working closely with Communications Business Partners and the Head of Communications, you'll take ownership of delivering strategic, creative, and high-quality events while contributing to a variety of communication activities across multiple channels.,
* Event Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic approach to event delivery, supporting stakeholders in planning and executing events that align with our communications plan.
* Event Delivery: Organise and manage all aspects of events, including venue booking, speaker engagement, technical support, entertainment, accommodation, and collateral. Events include:
* Employee events (e.g., Nucleus, All-Hands)
* Celebration events (e.g., Allstars Awards, seasonal parties)
* Thought Leadership and Client Engagement events
* Supply Chain recognition and "Meet the Buyer" events
* Recruitment and Graduate/Apprentice events
* Social Value initiatives (e.g., Festival of Work)
* External conferences and award ceremonies
Communications Support: Collaborate with the communications team to oversee event-related communications, including photography, videos, written content, and social media posts. Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for business communications and campaigns, ensuring alignment with our communications strategy. Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
* Experience: Proven background in event management (agency or in-house) is essential, with additional experience in marketing or communications.
* Skills:
* High-standard written and verbal communication
* Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint
* Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
* Creative thinker with high attention to detail
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Proactive and able to manage workloads independently or collaboratively
