We are looking for a Senior Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team! This role involves working across multiple sites, managing high volumes of work, and providing essential support to key services.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will:
* Organise inboxes and manage diaries effectively.
* Monitor and respond to enquiries efficiently.
* Provide vital support across the Lifelong Learning and Skills service, including:
o Sheaf Training - A post-16 Special Educational Needs centre.
o Family Adult Community Education Service - Delivering community-based adult learning.
o Careers Development Centre - Supporting apprenticeships and career development.
What We're Looking For
We need a committed, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with:
* Experience working in a busy office environment with strong administrative skills.
* Excellent IT skills and confidence in both verbal and written communication.
* The ability to handle sensitive information and work proactively to solve problems.
* A positive approach to relationship-building and teamwork.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
