£29,403 - £31,350 per annum
Are you passionate about empowering students and supporting them to fulfil their potential? Do you already hold a Level 6 Careers Adviser qualification?
We are looking for a Careers Adviser to join our well-established Careers Service. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to inspire, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a desire to help students realize their career potential.
The Careers Adviser position will be based at our busy Norwich campus in the Advice Shop, with occasional cross-campus work at both Easton and Paston Student Centres to offer our careers service to all CCN students. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to handle a variety of enquiries.
General day-to-day duties include:
1. Providing booked careers appointments.
2. Assisting the advice and guidance team by providing IAG to potential students through drop-in appointments, emails, telephone enquiries, live chat, school liaison activities, and open days.
3. Supporting existing students through Careers Appointments, planning, and presenting employability workshops and talks.
4. Assisting with UCAS applications, personal statement writing, and making choices for next steps.
The post will include some evening and weekend work throughout the year.
The ideal candidates will be Level 6 qualified, have a background in education, an understanding of the local labour market, and knowledge of the employability skills required for various roles.
